The Lublin Branch of the Association of Polish Musicians invites you to the next event as part of the concert series "Fonie Lublina". The concert on April 14, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. will be held at the Crown Tribunal as part of the national celebration of the Year of Stanisław Moniuszko.
The programme will include fragments of Halka and Countess, presented in the context of the most renowned arias and duets from the operas of G. Verdi, G. Bizet, G. Puccini, P. Tchaikovsky and R. Wagner. It will be a chance to hear what distinguishes Moszniuszko from many composers of his time and check what their music have in common. The sources of inspiration for Moniuszko's stage works can also be traced in solo and chamber forms. Therefore, the concert repertoire will be complemented by piano miniatures by J. Brahms and F. Chopin. The performers will be soprano Anna Barska, tenor Robert Mojsa and pianist Marta Misztal. The introduction will be given by Ewa Starownik-Kuszewska.
The project is implemented thanks to the financial support of the City of Lublin. Admission to the event is free!
