The Gliwice Chamber Orchestra Foundation and the Victoria Culture Centre in Gliwice invite you to a concert on November 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the concert hall of the Różycki Music School of the I and II degree, at 12 Księcia Ziemowita Street in Gliwice, as part of the annual "Masterful Interpretations" concert series. The concert will feature Krzysztof Herdzin as the soloist, conductor, and composer.
Together with the Gliwice Chamber Orchestra, Krzysztof Herdzin will perform works from his exceptional album. Herdzin is the first Polish composer to record a monographic album at the famous Abbey Road Studio in London, with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields orchestra. The Gliwice audience will have a special opportunity to hear live, performed by the composer, the Suite on Polish Themes, Assertive Prelude, Non-assertive Toccata, the composition Three Crowns, and Chopiniana con delizia for piano and string orchestra. Additionally, Krzysztof Herdzin will lead the concert and provide commentary on the program, sharing the story behind this musical project inspired by Polish folk music.
