The Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites you on an incredible journey through the colorful worlds of the imagination of today’s music creators. As part of the concert series "Music and Us", on September 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at the European Centre for Education and Youth Development (OHP) in Roskosz, contemporary music will be performed by the phenomenal accordionist Bartosz Kołsut. Admission is free!
Bartosz Kołsut will present and discuss works by composers such as György Ligeti, Krzysztof Penderecki, Staffan Mossenmark, and Paweł Janas. Participation in the event is free of charge.
In the second part of the concert, he will lead the audience in a collective, sophisticated musical activity: a group improvisation based on selected aspects of the pieces just presented.
“A workshop? A lecture? A concert? A game? We could add: immersive analysis, hybrid concert, experimental musical discourse… the final definition is yet to come — but one thing is certain: it won’t be boring,” emphasize the organizers.
The audience will be encouraged to sing or play an instrument.
The concert is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the "Culture – Interventions. 2025 Edition" program of the National Centre for Culture.
