Music Everywhere Choir Anniversary Concert

The concert celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Music Everywhere Choir will take place on May 30, 2026 at 7.00 pm at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. The choir, conducted by Beata Śnieg, will perform the world premiere of the composition The Creation of the World by Zuzanna Falkowska.

Inspired by the biblical description of the creation of the world, the piece was composed by Zuzanna Falkowska especially for the choir's anniversary. During the world premiere, the choir will be accompanied by instrumentalists

This is how the composer wrote about her latest piece:

"It is a musical tale about the first seven days of the creation of the world from a biblical perspective. A powerful theme, a monumental task. I spent many hours imagining the process of God bringing order to the world, meditating on the very beginning of all existence, and studying the first chapter of the Book of Genesis. At a certain point, I surrendered myself to improvisation and to selecting the musical motifs that resonated most deeply with my imagery of the individual stages of the world's creation. Right at the start of my work, I felt an extraordinary analogy between my own creative process and the divine one. This thought, in a way, determined my subsequent ideas and compositional solutions, unlocking access to new layers of creative potential. After all, I too was creating a world. I was creating a piece about creation. A new, musical world of my own, which I warmly invite everyone to discover".

The Gdańsk-based Music Everywhere Choir performs both in Poland and abroad. It has won over 50 awards at national and international competitions and festivals. The founder, conductor, and artistic director of the ensemble is Beata Śnieg, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and a Doctor of Musical Arts in choral conducting.

The event is organized by the Music Everywhere Association and held under the honorary patronage of Mieczysław Struk – Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
