"Musical Journey to the Land of Imagination" - Concert for Families

Telling stories, having an influence on course of the concert, and having a great time - all this awaits children and their parents during the "Musical Journey to the Land of Imagination" concert (ca. 50 minutes, adressed to children over 4 years old) organized by the Polish Society for Contemporary Music, which will take place on Saturday May 30th at 12.30 pm in the auditorium of the "Dorożkarnia" Cultural Center at 28 Siekierkowska Street in Warsaw. Admission is free.

This concert will feature a story told by an actor and the audience, accompanied by improvising musicians.

Performers: Małgorzata Kołcz (double bass), Jarosław Siwiński (synthesizer), and Leszek Lorent (percussion). The journey through fairy tales will be hosted by actor Grzegorz Ociepka.

Together, the artists and the listeners will wander through various realms of imagination, meeting fairy tale characters along the way. There might be a battle with monsters or discovering hidden treasures—it all depends on the audience and their imagination. Even the wildest, most eccentric idea suggested by the children can be told and performed as music will be created entirely live, heightening the emotions and setting the perfect atmosphere for the stories as they unravel.

The concert will be held within the Society's project "Creative Warsaw", which is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
