“New Dimensions” is a special edition of the Lower Silesian Music Festival, dedicated to showcasing chamber works of contemporary music. On 15 November 2025 at 7:00 p.m., within the walls of Międzylesie Castle — a place where historical heritage meets modern artistic expression — audiences will hear works by 20th- and 21st-century composers that reveal the rich sonic palette of woodwind instruments.
The idea behind the festival is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, presenting contemporary music as a space for vibrant interaction between composer, performer, and listener. The audience will have the opportunity to hear the Reed Connection Trio, featuring: Michał Mogiła – oboe, Jarosław Podsiadlik – clarinet, Rafał Dołęga – bassoon.
The programme will include works by Alexandre Tansman, Antoni Szałowski, Czesław Grabowski, Grzegorz Tobis, as well as new arrangements of pieces by Jerzy Petersburski and Henryk Wars, which will bring an aura of nostalgic elegance and musical finesse to the evening.
