Unforgettable melodies from Polish films and television series, which have firmly occupied a place in our memory to this day, will be performed by the Silesian Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Jan Miłosz Zarzycki on November 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic.
The concert will be held as part of the "PGE – HoloGramy" cycle, and, as such, will feature visual effects: alongside the live musicians on stage, a hologram will also make an appearance.
In this futuristic setting, we will hear Polish film music by Jerzy Matuszkiewicz, Adam Walaciński, Waldemar Kazanecki, Wojciech Kilar, Przemysław Gintrowski, Piotr Marczewski, and Henryk Kuźniak.
The partner of the cycle is PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.
The concert partner is the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
The concert is part of the "Multimedia Concerts with Holograms" project, co-financed under the National Recovery Plan – Program to Support the Activities of Entities in the Culture Sector and Creative Industries to Stimulate Their Development.
