"Photographic Scores – Haiku from Romania" at Toy Piano Gallery

As part of the centenary celebrations, the Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites you to the jubilee concert in Wrocław. During the concert "Photographic Scores – Haiku from Romania", we will delve into the world of photography and improvisation. The concert will take place on 2 December 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Toy Piano Gallery (Ruska 46A street). Admission is free!

The minimalist works of Romanian photographer Andrei Baciu have served as inspiration for a musical composition created by a group of renowned improvisers: Ryszard Latecki (trumpet, percussion), Cezary Duchnowski (piano), Tadeusz Wielecki (double bass), and Hubert Zemler (drums).

The concert will merge these two art forms: the improvisations will be accompanied by photographs animated by Ukrainian graphic artist Sergii Glowa.

The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund, within the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.

Collaboration: Toy Piano Gallery, ZAiKS Authors' Association, Art Deco Group Music Agency.

Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
