Thanks to the first edition of the La Casa dell’Arte Festival, on August 23–24, 2025, Polish contemporary music will resonate in Arcidosso (Tuscany, Italy). Admission is free!
This summer, Arcidosso will become a stage for renowned artists from Poland and beyond. Among the performers are Polish violin virtuoso Mateusz Smoczyński, Shoven Quartett – winners of the 4th prize at the 3rd International Polish Music Competition, pianist and composer Ido Ramot, as well as double bassist Mateusz Wadowski and rising piano star Viviana-Zarah Baudis.
On August 23, a Polish music concert will take place on Piazza della Riconciliazione, featuring works by Andrzej Panufnik, Władysław Żeleński, Karol Szymanowski, and Adam’s Apple by Mateusz Smoczyński arranged for chamber ensemble.
On August 24, at Podere San Michele (near Meriga), the program will include works by Robert Schumann, John Adams, and Mieczysław Weinberg.
The event is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland from the Culture Promotion Fund and held under the honorary patronage of the Polish Institute in Rome.
