A quartet of recognized Polish artists – Jakub Jakowicz, Katarzyna Budnik, Marcin Zdunik, and Grzegorz Mania – will perform on June 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Książ Castle as part of the "Polish Music Scene" program. This concert is one of the highlights of the 22nd Princess Daisy Festival.
The artists collaborate not only in this quartet but also in various chamber ensembles, from duos to sextets. Each member of the group maintains an active international and national concert career. They are united by a genuine passion for chamber music – for performing both beloved classics and reviving forgotten masterpieces. The ensemble has performed at festivals in cities such as Rzeszów and Zielona Góra.
At the upcoming concert, they will perform Piano Quartets by Władysław Żeleński and Xaver Scharwenka.
The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the "Polish Music Scene" program, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.
The festival is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. Additional funding is provided by the Self-Government of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the Municipality of Wałbrzych.
