A concert featuring outstanding soloists – Jakub Jakowicz, Katarzyna Budnik, Marcin Zdunik, and Grzegorz Mania – will take place at the Silesian Philharmonic on May 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.. Thanks to the "Polish Music Stage" program, they will perform as a quartet.
Each member of the ensemble maintains an active solo career both in Poland and abroad. What unites them is a genuine passion for chamber music – for performing both well-known and beloved works, as well as reviving forgotten masterpieces.
At the upcoming concert, they will present Piano Quartets by Władysław Żeleński and Xaver Scharwenka.
The program will be repeated as part of the 22nd Princess Daisy Festival at Książ Castle on June 28.
The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the "Polish Music Scene" program, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
