A quartet of recognized Polish artists will perform on June 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Silesian Philharmonic as part of the “Polish Music Scene” program. The ensemble is composed of renowned musicians, both soloists and chamber performers: Jakub Jakowicz, Katarzyna Budnik, Marcin Zdunik, and Grzegorz Mania.
The artists collaborate not only as a quartet but have also performed together for many years in various ensembles, ranging from duos to sextets. Each member of the group maintains an active concert career both in Poland and abroad. They share a genuine passion for chamber music—both for performing beloved masterpieces and for reviving forgotten gems. The quartet has appeared at festivals in Rzeszów and Zielona Góra, among others.
At the upcoming concert, they will perform piano quartets by Władysław Żeleński and Xaver Scharwenka.
The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the “Polish Music Stage” program, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
