The Silesian Philharmonic invites you to an extraordinary encounter with Polish vocal lyricism on January 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM as part of the "Polish Music Scene" cycle, co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance and funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The performers will be Aleksandra Kubas-Kruk, Anna Bernacka, and Monika Kruk – graduates of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, who have successfully performed on the biggest stages both in Poland and abroad. Concert will take place in the chamber hall.
In 2019, the artists have joined forces to explore and popularize works that rarely appear in concert programs, and their passion for Polish vocal music has resulted in several fascinating performances of forgotten works by native composers.
During the upcoming concert, we will hear songs by Stanisław Lipski, Henryk Opieński, Jerzy Gablenz, Jan Antoni Wichrowski, Stanisław Wiechowicz, and Szymon Laks. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Polish melody, discover hidden gems of our national music, and experience special moments with artists who share their passions and talents.
