During the concert of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra on October 19, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw, the audience will be treated to an evening of Polish music and youthful energy! Under the baton of Przemysław Neumann, the orchestra will perform works by Witold Maliszewski and his student, Witold Lutosławski. Pianist and composer Aleksander Dębicz will take the stage as the soloist, presenting a classic piece from the repertoire.
Dębicz will perform Piano Concerto in A major, KV 488 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart—one of the most beautiful works of its kind in the entire history of music.
The concert will open with Little Suite by Witold Lutosławski, a piece that draws upon Rzeszów and Lasowiak folk traditions. This composition won the admiration of the great conductor Grzegorz Fitelberg.
