The Poznań Branch of the Polish Composers’ Union and the Foundation of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music invite you to the continuation of the series “Poznań Composers and Their Guests.” On October 23, the ensemble Sepia Ensemble will perform, and on October 29, NeoQuartet will give a concert and additionally lead a workshop. The entire event is dedicated to the memory of Poznań composer Rafał Zapała. Admission is free.
All events will take place in the Blue Hall of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. The concerts will present works by composers representing not only the Poznań Branch of the Polish Composers’ Union (including the world premiere of Chamber Music VI by Michał Janocha) but also the Kujawsko‑Pomorskie, Wrocław, Lublin and Cracow branches.
Academic supervision by: Dr. E. Fabiańska‑Jelińska.
The event is financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special‑purpose fund – under the “Music” programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance, and from the municipal budget of the City of Poznań #poznanwspiera.
