Premiere of Jerzy Kornowicz's Piano Quintet in Stawisko
On October 27, 2024, at 5:00 PM, the Anna and Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz Museum in Stawisko will host the premiere of the Piano Quintet "Scenes from Bosch" by Jerzy Kornowicz, a composer, improvising pianist, artistic director of the "Warsaw Autumn" festival, and longtime president of the Polish Composers' Union. Admission is free!
The composer will also perform alongside the Prima Vista String Quartet composed of: Krzysztof Bzówka (1st violin), Szymon Telecki (2nd violin), Marek Czech (viola), and Tomasz Błaszczak (cello).
During this evening of Polish music in the home of one of the greatest Polish writers and poets of the 20th century, the String Quartet "Sądecki" by Stanisław Moryto and the Second String Quartet Op. 56 by Karol Szymanowski will also be performed.
