Premiere of Krzysztof Meyer's "Te Deum" in the National Pantheon

A wonderful opportunity to experience Polish choral music at the highest level will be the concert "Dialogi Mistrzów" (Dialogues of Masters) on October 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the stunning interiors of the Church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul (National Pantheon) in Cracow. The concert will feature works by three giants of Polish music, including the premiere of Krzysztof Meyer's Te Deum, who is the honorary patron of the event. Admission is free!

The concert program will also present a timeless "dialogue of masters" in choral music: Krzysztof Penderecki and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.

The concert will be conducted by Dr. Maria Wilczek-Krupa, with overall direction by Maestro Janusz Siadlak, who has been awarded the Silver Medal Gloria Artis. The Collegium Cantorum ensemble, founded by him in 1987, is regarded as one of the best in Poland and has consistently impressed both audiences and critics. Maciej Tworek, a long-time collaborator of Krzysztof Penderecki, described them as a "world-class ensemble" that brings a new quality to every performance.

The event is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
