Hashtag Lab invites you on November 14, 2024, at 8:00 PM to experience the various shades of the human voice in the concert "Posłuchy". This concert will feature the world premiere of the latest work by Marcin Stańczyk, also titled Posłuchy.
The concert will explore the interplay of human voice, acoustic instruments, and digitally generated sounds, filling the Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Space with delicate, ethereal sounds that open up space for the imagination. The program includes three works by Polish composers, performed as part of a series celebrating the 10th anniversary of Hashtag Ensemble. The members of the ensemble will perform not only as part of the group but also as soloists, with participation from students of the PRO Hashtag Ensemble Academy.
Sławomir Kupczak’s Partytura pół-otwarta ("Semi-Open Score") for Kołysanka ("Lullaby") invites performers to follow their own intuition while embracing the profound sounds of the vocal part.
For the first time, Marta Grzywacz will perform not only as a pianist but also as a singer, presenting Agata Zubel’s Trzy pieśni ("Three Songs"), which open up a space for listening to the buzzing of strings and the sighs of breath.
The climax of the concert will be the world premiere of Posłuchy, inspired by Polish traditional music. The piece was commissioned by Hashtag Ensemble with the support of the Composers’ Commissions program.
The event is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund within the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. It is also co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund as part of the "Composers’ Commissions" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
