A special meeting marking Prof. Mieczysław Tomaszewski's 95th birthday will be held on December 12, 2016 at 5.00 pm at Kinoteka Cinema in Warsaw.
Professor Tomaszewski is a Polish musicologist and editor of numerous series. He has held research and published writings on ontology, analysis and interpretation of the musical work, the relationship between lyrics and music, theory and history of song, and Fryderyk Chopin.
The meeting, organized by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, includes the presentation of a 30-minute documentary on Prof. Tomaszewski (produced by the Chopin Institute) and his new publication entitled Chopin 2. Grasping the Ungraspable.
