On March 14, 2025, the jury meeting of the competition organized by the Section of Musicologists of the Polish Composers' Union took place. Jury consisted of: Prof. Iwona Lindstedt (chair), Dr. Agnieszka Leszczyńska, Prof. Teresa Malecka, Dr. Katarzyna Naliwajek, Dr. Barbara Przybyszewska-Jarmińska, Prof. Sławomira Żerańska-Kominek, and Dr. Beata Bolesławska-Lewandowska, (chair of the Section of Musicologists of the Polish Composers' Union). One award and two honorable mentions were granted.
The jury of the competition unanimously decided to award the Ks. Prof. Hieronim Feicht Award for 2024 to Mrs. Katarzyna Spurgjasz for her work "Między światami. Historia śląskiego kantora i jego muzycznej kolekcji w czasach przemian wyznaniowych (1654–1707)" (Warsaw, Sub Lupa, 2023).
At the same time, the jury, through voting, decided to grant two honorable mentions: to Mr. Michał Jaczyński for his work "Obecność muzyki żydowskiej w powszechnej kulturze wybranych ośrodków Europy Środkowej w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym" (unpublished doctoral thesis, Institute of Musicology, Jagiellonian University, Cracow 2023) and to Mr. Kwen-Yin Li for his work "Poetyczność muzyki Chopina" (unpublished doctoral thesis, Institute of Musicology, University of Wrocław, Wrocław 2023).
The official award ceremony for the competition laureates will take place during the opening of the 54th Musicological Conference of the Polish Composers' Union, "Music, Memory, History", on November 13, 2025, at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
