Thanks to the National Institute of Music and Dance’s “Polish Music Scene” program, the Metropolis Piano Quartet will perform on January 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM on the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic.
The artists, who are regularly associated with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and the Katowice Academy of Music, were awarded the title of Laureate at the 3rd International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów in 2023. They are also scholarship recipients of the Minister of Culture and Art, Stiftung für die Musik in Zurich, the Yamaha Foundation, and others.
Their performance will feature Polish music: Quartet Op. 39 by Józef Deszczyński, Suite-divertissement by Aleksander Tansman, and the Piano Quartet in D minor by Zygmunt Noskowski.
The concert is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the “Polish Music Scene” program, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
