On December 14-15, 2024, the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw will host the nationwide scientific conference "Conducting Wind Orchestras – Perspectives on Professional and Artistic Development", organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Admission to all events is free for conference participants.
The conference program will include lectures and practical sessions on key aspects of working with wind orchestras, led by distinguished conductors and educators from various institutions across the country. The artistic and organizational director of the conference is conductor and composer Dr. Jarosław Praszczałek.
Concert Orchestra of the Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Armed Forces, as well as students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw will perform at the conference.
This scientific conference will be a valuable opportunity for exchanging experiences and deepening knowledge in the field of wind orchestra conducting, while also serving as an attractive event for enthusiasts of the wind orchestra movement.
