On November 17, 2017 the Academy of Art in Szczecin will host a Scintific Conference "Voices of contemporaneity. Vocal and instrumental music of the beginning of the 21st century".
The aim of the project is to analyze the problem of the use of human voice in the music of the beginning of this century. The theoretical part will cover lectures given by contemporary Polish composers: Alicja Gronau-Osińska, Monika Kędziora, Aleksander Nowak, Marcin Kopczyński, Aleksandra Garbal, and Artur Cieślak. Their works will be presented afterwards during the concert performed by Lilianna Zalesińska (mezzo-soprano) and Piotr Szymanowicz (piano), and led by Marta Szreder.
Both events will take place at the headquarters of the Academy of Art – Pałac pod Globusem, 2 Orła Białego Square (lectures: 9.30-14.00, concert: 18.00).
