On Sunday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Polish Society for Contemporary Music invites children aged 3 to 8 and their parents to Austeria – Branch of the Raszyn Cultural Center (Al. Krakowska 1, Raszyn) for a free family improvisation workshop titled “Tell Me a Story”.
Participation is free, but advance registration is required due to a limited number of spots.
This will be a great opportunity to explore new music and the world of contemporary sounds, and to listen to musical “pictures” such as an octopus on a walk, frogs in a pond, or tools in a workshop.
The workshop will be led by outstanding improvisers:
Together with the children, they will spend around 90 minutes (with a short break) in a fun and creative musical experience involving instruments, graphic books, and the sounds of our time. Participants will also explore various sound production techniques, focusing on color and dynamics, and will have the chance to make music together with the performers.

The workshop is free of charge and takes place as part of the “Creative Mazovia” project by the Polish Society for Contemporary Music (PTMW), co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund.
