The Władysława Markiewiczówna Silesian Piano Festival is a unique celebration of piano music that will soon once again resonate within the walls of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski State Primary Music School in Tarnowskie Góry. The 3rd edition of the festival will take place on 26–27 March 2026, with applications open until 6 March 2026.
The event brings together young pianists and teachers, creating a space filled with inspiration, talent, and musical sensitivity. Dedicated to the outstanding pianist and pedagogue Władysława Markiewiczówna, the festival cultivates the tradition of beautiful piano sound and supports the artistic development of young performers.
The organizers invite all piano students of primary-level music schools (Level I) from the Silesian region, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, to take part in the festival.
