The centenary of the Polish section of the International Society for Contemporary Music, known as PTMW, is a great opportunity to participate in a conference and a discussion panel dedicated to the history and activities of the association, as part of the 5th Conference in the series "Polish Music Abroad." The event will take place on September 20, 2024, at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). Admission is free.
Beata Bolesławska-Lewandowska will present a jubilee essay, and the discussion will feature distinguished artists associated with PTMW: Zygmunt Krauze, Jacek Rogala, Adam Sławiński, Anna Dorota Władyczka, Tadeusz Wielecki, and Maciej Żółtowski. The discussion panel is part of the project "Music and Creation – Concerts for the Centenary of the Polish Society for Contemporary Music," co-financed by the City of Warsaw, and is an accompanying event of the 67th International Festival of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn”.
The project is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
