During the ViolinArt International Forum, 6 concerts will be held featuring artists such as Alena Baeva, Roby Lakatos, Jenő Lisztes, Mateusz Smoczyński, Janusz Wawrowski, Mikołaj Sikała, Paweł Zagańczyk, Karolina Piątkowska-Nowicka, Sylwia Janiak-Kobylińska, Sebastian Wypych, and Anna Wandtke-Wypych, along with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the inaugural concert, the world premiere of the Double Violin Concertino "Timeless”: Hommage à Arvo Pärt and Johann Sebastian Bach by Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk will take place.
Masterclasses with young violinists (selected through a competition) will be conducted by Alena Baeva (winner of many prestigious competitions, including the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań), Dr. Janusz Wawrowski (professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw), and Prof. Sebastian Hamann (professor at the Academy of Music in Freiburg).
Attractive prizes are also planned for the participants of the masterclasses, such as a concert at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, a performance at the Gdańsk Music Festival in 2025, a professional CD recording, along with mastering at MekRecords, and many more.
Admission is free or with a free ticket, which can be reserved and downloaded at: www.amuz.gda.pl/wydarzenia. The concert by Alena Baeva will take place at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, with ticketed admission.
The project is co-financed the Minister of Education and Science as part of the "Excellent Science II" program.
