The first meeting after the summer break in the series of open lectures by Prof. Krzysztof Szatrawski, (University of Warmia and Mazury), titled "Musical (Re)Tutorials," will be dedicated to the "Warsaw Autumn"! On October 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM in Room 312 at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, there will be a lecture titled The Magic of the "Warsaw Autumn" – Reflections on the 67th Edition of the Most Important Contemporary Music Festival.
The lecture will focus on contemporary music and the role that this International Festival of Contemporary Music plays in shaping musical culture. A historical overview of previous editions will be presented, along with a review of the key events from this year's edition of the festival.
A reconnaissance of the festival program, supported by musical examples, will not only highlight the most current trends in the works of Polish and international composers but also serve as an invitation to embark on a personal adventure with the latest music.
