On December 7, at 7:00 PM, participants of the second edition of the PRO Academy program at Hashtag Lab will premiere works composed specifically for them by contemporary composers.
The Hashtag Ensemble PRO Academy is a year-long mentoring program designed for students and graduates of music academies who are eager to deepen their involvement in contemporary music.
The concert program will feature not only these premieres but also works proposed by the participants themselves, stemming from their extensive research. This research merges musicological analysis of topics they find interesting with the search for ways to realize their own performance passions.
For the first time, we will hear Cool black / Bellflower color (Kikyō-iro) by Włodzimierz Żukowski and Gry warszawskie (Warsaw Games) by Ryszard Alzin. The latter was created as part of the "Composers’ Commissions" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
The Contemporary Music Space Hashtag Lab is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
It is funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage through the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the "Composer Commissions" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
Co-financed by ZAW STOART.
