The final concert of the 5th International Music Festival of Central and Eastern Europe "Eufonie" is a full, two-part version of Krzysztof Penderecki's Utrenja, which will be performed on the 25th of November at the All Saints Church in Warsaw at 7:30 p.m. The soloists will be Bożena Bujnicka, Agnieszka Rehlis, Rafał Bartmiński, Tomasz Konieczny and Volodymyr Tyshkov. Before the concert, the president of Polish Composers’ Union, Mieczysław Kominek, will present Tomasz Konieczny with the Honorary Award of the Polish Composers' Union for his contribution to the promotion of Polish contemporary music.
Approximately 230 artists will tackle the monumental work, including the Warsaw Philharmonic Choir, the Poznań Boys' Choir and Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Zsolt Nagy (Hungary), who will perform at "Eufonie" for the third time. The concert will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Master's birth.
