Media patronage: Polish Music Information
The repertoire from Alina Ratkowska and Paweł Gusnar's album Le Clavecin Moderne plus Saxophone, which won the Fryderyk 2024 Phonographic Academy award, will be heard in the perfect acoustics of the concert hall of Nowa Miodowa on the 12th of May, 2024 at 7 p.m.
Le Clavecin Moderne plus Saxophone is a unique mix of compositions dedicated to its performers - Alina Ratkowska and Paweł Gusnar. The repertoire - colorful and diverse, and at the same time harmonious and coherent - confirms the perfect correlation of the sound of these seemingly distant instruments.
Apart from Paweł Łukaszewski's LukaSonata for alto saxophone and harpsichord and the third installment of Bartosz Kowalski's Streams for harpsichord, soprano, alto saxophones and electronics, other works by Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska, Weronika Ratusińska-Zamuszko, Mikołaj Hertl, Marcin Łukaszewski, Leszek Możdżer and Nicolas Prost were written for soprano saxophone and harpsichord.
