As part of the project "With Classics Across Poland" organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance, the renowned cellist Tomasz Strahl — Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music — and pianist Paweł Wakarecy, Professor at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, will perform in the Pomeranian and West Pomeranian Voivodeships from May 28 to May 30, 2025.
Concerts by this outstanding duo will take place at the Cultural Center in Ustka, the Sławno Cultural Center, and the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle.
Their program will include Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. 20, Largo from Sonata Op. 65, and Prelude in B minor, Op. 28 by Fryderyk Chopin, Melody by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, as well as works by Franz Schubert, Camille Saint-Saëns, Edward Elgar, and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
