The Łomża Chamber Philharmonic invites you to join in a Christmas carol celebration. In 2024, there will be two opportunities to participate: on Thursday, December 19, two carol concerts will take place at 12:00 and 18:30. The most beautiful Polish carols and pastorals will be performed by Katarzyna Wardak (soprano) and Zbigniew Malak (tenor), accompanied by the Łomża Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jan Miłosz Zarzycki. During the evening concert, the world premiere of the piece Sanie Świętego Mikołaja (Santa Claus’ Sleigh) by Jarosław Siwiński will be performed.
The composition Sanie Świętego Mikołaja by Jarosław Siwiński for string orchestra was commissioned by the Polish Society for Contemporary Music as part of the "Composer Commissions" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
For the 12:00 concert, holders of the Łomża Resident Card can purchase a special ticket for 1 PLN (other attendees can buy tickets for 10 PLN). For the 18:30 concert, tickets are available for 10 to 30 PLN and can be purchased through the Philharmonic's website or at the ticket office one hour before the concert.
