Information about the event | Warszawa | 19 June 2026

The world premiere of the interactive piece re:born – Immersive Composition Laboratory by Oktawia Pączkowska for voice, instrumental ensemble, electronics, and generative visuals will take place on June 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM in Studio 1 at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (UMFC) in Warsaw. This work marks the culmination of the composer and sound artist’s studies at the Doctoral School of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Admission is free!

The composer focuses on the phenomenon of immersion in multimedia and electroacoustic music, exploring the relationships between sound, image, space, and audience engagement.

The project combines voice, instrumental ensemble, spatial electronics, generative visuals, and interactive elements. At the core of the piece is the experience of co-presence and the co-creation of musical form by both performers and the audience, as well as a reflection on corporeality, transformation, and digital perception.

During the event, the audience is invited to actively participate using smartphones, which become tools that help shape the course of the composition. Participation in the interaction is entirely voluntary.

The doctoral project was supervised by Assistant Professor Aldona Nawrocka-Woźniak, PhD, Habil. and Assistant Professor Wojciech Błażejczyk, PhD, Habil.
