The orchestra will premiere works by young Polish composers: Maxime Resonance by Kinga Wójcik and Krakowiak by Wojciech Laskowski, as well as Etude in B minor, Op. 4 No. 3 by Karol Szymanowski in a chamber orchestra arrangement by Andrzej Mandryka, conducted by him.
They will also present compositions by Edric Micallef, Matthias Azzopardi, and the world premiere of Concertino for Violin Solo and String Orchestra by Reuben Pace. The soloist for this piece will be violinist Daria Mandryka.
The concert featuring premieres of Polish and Maltese music will take place on April 16 at 8:00 PM at St. Joseph Retreat, Buskett Road in Rabat (Malta).
