The 15th edition of the All-Polish Scientific Conference "Ideas of Music - Ideologies in Music", to be held on 25 April 2025 at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, will deal with crossing boundaries in music. The themes of the conference can be understood broadly and include issues related to different types of boundaries, such as interdisciplinary - intermedia, performance, sound poetry, etc., geographic-cultural, aesthetic, technical, communicative. The deadline for submissions is 4 April 2025 (by 23:59).
The conference is aimed at undergraduate, master's and doctoral students, primarily music theorists, composers, musicologists, as well as representatives of the humanities and sciences whose research falls within the field of music knowledge.
The length of the paper should not exceed 20 minutes; 10 minutes will be allocated for discussion after each paper.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Participants will be informed of the acceptance of the proposed presentation no later than 11 April. At the end of the conference, they will receive a certificate of their active participation in the event.
