The Institution of Music Promotion and Popularizarion "Silesia" invites for the second part of this year’s edition of the International Festival of Young Laureats of Music Competitions “Interventions 2017”, which will take place in Katowice between November 23 and December 15, 2017.

During the festival we will hear laureats of the 66th ARD International Music Competition in Munich, “Estrada Młodych” Music Competition, 51st Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk and other important Polish and international competitions for instrumentalists, cameralists and vocalists. It will also be an occasion to see on stage participants of the Opera Academy at the Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw. The programme will include works by Stanisław Moniuszko and Karol Szymanowski. Festival concerts will take place at the Concert Hall of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music, NOSPR Chamber Hall, Archidiocesean Museum and different community centers in Katowice.

The festival is co-financed by the Institute of Music and Dance as part of the programme „Music and Dance – Interventions 2017”.
