Żabia Wola | The Academy of Chamber Music in the Ojrzanów Palace

The "Friends of Music" Culture Support Foundation invites duets, as well as individual opera singers and pianists, to participate in the masterclasses "The Art of Song", which will be conducted by Prof. Urszula Kryger and Prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska at the Ojrzanów Palace (1 Tarczyńska St., Żabia Wola) on 6-11 December 2021. The deadline for submitting applications is 30 November.

It is the only masterclass of this type aimed at deepening the art of song interpretation, chamber music making and collaboration of singer and pianist in a vocal duet.

The masterclasses are open to opera singers and pianists – students of the last years of secondary music schools as well as students and graduates with no upper age limit, who will work in duets with other students during the course.

The course includes 5 lessons for each duo, which will be held between 6 and 11 December according to the schedule set by the teachers. Lessons will be open to all interested course participants. The course will end with a concert performed by the participants.

The organiser provides full-board accommodation in single or double rooms at the Ojrzanów Palace.
