On 27 December 2025, the Art Forum Foundation will release the album Zbigniew Bargielski: Statek szaleńców, featuring world premiere recordings of four previously unrecorded works by one of the most important Polish contemporary composers. The album includes compositions from 2017–2024, in which the accordion plays a central role.
The album features:
- Kilka minut obecności – poemat domniemany for voice and accordion,
- Ballada for violin and accordion,
- Statek szaleńców for clarinet and accordion, and
- Ballada z koronką popiołu for accordion and tape.
Performers include Maciej Zimka, Bożena Boba-Dyga, Maria Sławek, and Piotr Lato.
All recordings are world premiere releases, representing a significant contribution to the documentation of Bargielski’s oeuvre and the development of contemporary chamber music. The recordings were made in September 2025 at the concert hall of the State Music School in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.
The album will also be available online on Naxos Music Library, Spotify, iTunes, Tidal, YouTube, and Deezer.
