On the 16th of December 2022, we will be able to get into the festive mood during the final concert of the String Festival ‘Polish Masters of Violin’, which will take place at 19.00 at the Tadeusz Baird Zielona Góra Philharmonic. The Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Czesław Grabowski will present Polish Christmas carols arranged by this respected conductor and composer.
The 'Christmas Concerto, as the Concerto Grosso from Op. 6 by Arcangel Corelli is usually called, will begin one of the last concerts of this year at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic. In the interpretation of Roksana Kwaśnikowska-Stankiewicz we will hear the Violin Concerto in D major Op. 61 by Ludwig van Beethoven – one of the most frequently performed concertos in the entire violin repertoire.
The second part of the concert will feature Stanisław Moniuszko's Fantastic Overture ‘Fairy Tale’ and arrangements of the most beautiful Christmas carols by Czesław Grabowski.
Co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
