The project “Oto insights” was initiated by flutist and producer Ania Karpowicz, who conducts interviews with artists to promote awareness of copyright law and best practices in international collaboration.
On the Oto Foundation’s channel, interviews have been published with three Polish composers, each active in a different area of the music industry – avant-garde, film, and jazz: Mikołaj Majkusiak, Maciej Zieliński, and Nikola Kołodziejczyk.
These interviews, featuring English subtitles, are part of the international promotion of Polish musicians. Moreover, the knowledge shared in the conversations—covering fundamental aspects of copyright law in professional practice and insights into working with foreign partners—may prove valuable not only to Polish composers, but also to institutions co-organizing music projects.
