10th "Kraków Music Salon"

The Association of Polish Chamber Musicians invites the audiences to the 10th "Kraków Music Salon". Seven concerts will take place in the Fontana Hall at the Museum of Kraków and in the Music Salon (at Studencka Street) from September 2 to 26, 2026.

The "Kraków Music Salon" restores the memory of the music salon tradition as a popular element of 19th-century Kraków's cultural life. During this year's event, an attempt to reconstruct the performance style of that period's representatives will be undertaken by outstanding performers: Hanna Hipp, Mateusz Doniec, Dorota Szczepańska, Katarzyna Sokołowska, Jakub Kuszlik, Wojciech Fudala, Michał Rot, Ewa Tracz, Monika Kruk, Reverie Piano Duo, Sinfonietta Cracovia Quartet, Airis String Quartet, and others.

During the opening concert at the Museum of Kraków, mezzosoprano Hanna Hipp, violist Mateusz Doniec, and pianist Grzegorz Mania will perform works by Mieczysław Weinberg, Szymon Laks, as well as Johannes Brahms and Frank Bridge. Laks' works will also be heard during the final concert on September 26, performed by soprano Ewa Tracz and pianist Monika Kruk.

On September 25, at the Music Salon, cellist Wojciech Fudala and pianist Michał Rot will premiere Jan Sanejko's Sonata.

Co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage within the "Music" program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. The project is carried out with the financial support of the Małopolska Voivodeship.
