Journalism and Music Criticism Scientific Club (Koło Naukowe Dziennikarstwa i Krytyki Muzycznej) and Artistic Entrepreneurship Scientific Club (Koło Naukowe Przedsiębiorczości Artystycznej) operating at the Institute of Media and Music Production (Instytut Mediów i Produkcji Muzycznej) of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź are inviting to participate in the 8th Artistic-Scientific Conference "Muzyka-Media-Marketing” (Music-Media-Marketing) which will take place on 17-18th March 2026 in Łódź. The deadline of submitting applications is the 20th of February.
The conference is open to academics, PhD students and students representing various disciplines (including music theorists, musicologists, media experts, cultural experts), as well as practitioners (including journalists, music producents, sound engineers) who deal with the issues how music functions in the broadly understood media and marketing environment.
As in previous editions, the first day of the conference will feature lectures by special guests, experts in music media, music production, sound engineering and music marketing. On the second day, speakers selected through a call for applications will take the floor (the planet presentation should not exceed 30 minutes).
Applications (by completing the following form - https://forms.gle/btWKXXBBH7Nq7TZ56 ) must be submitted by 20th February. Participants will be informed about the acceptance of their application by 28th February. In the event of a large number of applications, the organizers reserve the right to make substantive selections.
Outstanding papers will be published after successfully passing the review process.
The organizers of the event do not charge a conference fee for participation. Refreshments are provided during coffee breaks. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
