The National Forum of Music named after Witold Lutosławski in Wrocław invites you to participate in the third edition of the debate "Business in Culture – Culture in Business", which will take place on November 21, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the Red Hall of NFM. The deadline for submissions is November 7.
Building a modern and open society that supports innovative businesses requires establishing a communication bridge between entrepreneurs and cultural institutions based on best practices for collaboration. Therefore, NFM is once again creating a space for discussion.
This year, the organizers aim to focus on examples of good practices in the collaboration between culture and business at both local and national levels, modern models of patronage, non-visual benefits for businesses from investing in culture, and issues related to the administrative aspects of cooperation between the private and public sectors.
Participants will include representatives from culture, business, and administration. Notable speakers will include: Ewa Folta, an art collector; Krzysztof Folta, chairman of the supervisory board of TIM SA; Andrzej Kosendiak, director of NFM from 2014 to 2024; Rafał Krzemień, president of Totalizator Sportowy Sp. z o.o.; and Maciej Tomaszewski, spokesperson for STRABAG Sp. z o.o. The discussion will be led by Jarosław Sroka, a member of the KI Next board, coordinator of the InCredibles program, and host of the “Firmament” program on Radio 357.
Following the debate, there will be a concert titled "Beczała & Radvanovsky – Opera Gala," featuring outstanding singers performing with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic under the baton of maestro Gianluca Marcianò. The evening will conclude with a festive banquet.
