The Warsaw Musical Society invites you to a concert on November 10, 2024, at 4:00 PM to celebrate the 125th birthday of Feliks Rybicki. The concert will take place at the Society's premises in the Szuster Palace (Morskie Oko 2).
Feliks Rybicki was the conductor of the Oratorio Choir of the Warsaw Philharmonic and led the orchestra at the Karol Szymanowski Music High School in Warsaw. He collaborated with Polish Radio as a conductor and composer for over 40 years. The Nutoteca of the Polish Radio Archive holds 283 manuscripts (autographs) of works composed by him on commission from the Radio, including orchestral pieces, musical illustrations for radio dramas for children and youth, and songs, as well as 103 manuscripts of arrangements and adaptations of works by other composers.
This upcoming Sunday, his works will be performed by Magdalena Wór (mezzo-soprano), Martin Labazevitch (piano), Wojciech Szlachcikowski (violin), and Andrzej Wróbel (cello).
