On November 24, 2024, at 4:15 PM, a concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Warsaw Intercollegiate Choir (WChM) titled "Warsaw Intercollegiate Choir and Guests" will take place at the Church of St. Anne in Warsaw. The concert will feature performances by WChM, the Camerata Varsovia Choir, and the Kairos Men's Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Elżbieta Siczek and Borys Somerschaf.
The program will include contemporary choral works, such as compositions by Roman Palester, Marian Sawa, Janusz Dąbrowski, Piotr Grinholc, Ola Gjeilo, and Karl Jenkins, as well as church music and ancient sacred chants from Greece and Georgia.
The soloists will be Monika Sokołowska (soprano) and Piotr Łobodziński (baritone).
The concert will begin immediately after the Holy Mass, which will be celebrated for the choir members, conductors, pastors, and supporters of the Warsaw Intercollegiate Choir.
The concert is held under the patronage of His Eminence Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz and the Mayor of Warsaw, Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski.
The project is co-financed by the Municipality of Warsaw, Śródmieście District.
The anniversary celebration is organized by the “Cantica” Foundation for the Promotion of Amateur Creativity, which has been operating since 1993 in association with the Warsaw Intercollegiate Choir.
