Violinist Agata Szymczewska, winner of the 13th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition, and pianist and chamber musician Wojciech Szymczewski will perform as part of the concert series "With Classics Through Poland." The event will take place at the W. Szpilman Studio of the Polish Radio on October 5th at 5:00 PM. The concert will be broadcast by Programme 2 of the Polish Radio.
The program will feature Beethoven's Spring Sonata in F major, Op. 24, Henryk Wieniawski's Legend, Op. 17, and Emil Młynarski's Mazur in G major. The broadcast will also include a conversation with the artists, discussing, among other topics, their experiences playing in small towns for audiences who often encounter classical music for the first time.
The concert broadcast will be hosted by Klaudia Baranowska.
The series "With Classics Through Poland" is created in collaboration with the National Institute of Music and Dance and is funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
