The 3rd Edition of Piano Courses in Jastrzębie-Zdrój features two upcoming concerts: on May 2 at 6.00 pm and May 3, 2026, at 5.00 pm, both of which will take place at the Concert Hall of the Prof. Józef Świder State Primary and Secondary Music School in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. Entry is free of charge.
During Saturday's concert, a broad range of piano repertoire will be presented by students of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice: Krzysztof Gumola, Emma Czubak, Tomoka Koyama, Pola Sierka, Yevheniia Slipko, and Szymon Juchno. Their interpretations will feature works by Sergei Prokofiev, Fryderyk Chopin, Karol Szymanowski, Franz Liszt, and Witold Lutosławski.
Sunday’s concert marks the final day of the 3rd Piano Courses in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The program will feature music from various eras and styles, including works by Polish composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, performed by course participants – talented young pianists.
The tutors of this year’s edition include Agnieszka Kopińska, PhD; Anna Czaicka-Jaklewicz, PhD; Szczepan Kończal, PhD; Łukasz Trepczyński, PhD; Maciej Słapiński, PhD; and Mateusz Meisner, who serves as the director of the courses.
