As part of the "Wednesday in Okólnik" series at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, an author's concert of Prof. Edward Sielicki titled "Dni tygodnia, erotyki i mazurki" will take place on November 27, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
For the first time in Poland, the seven newest compositions by Professor Sielicki will be performed: Poniedziałek, Piątek, Sobota from the Days of the Week cycle: 7 works for violin and viola, Light Motiv. Mała suita for solo cello, Trzy mazurki północno-mazowieckie for flute, violin, viola, and piano. World premiere of Sarang (Miłość) for piano trio will also take place.
Additionally, the following works will be performed: Weteringschans for soprano saxophone and tape, Erotyki to poems by Paulina Cysak for soprano and piano.
Lecturers and doctoral students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music will perform at the concert: Robert Morawski and Luyao Zhang (piano), Anna Mikołajczyk-Niewiedział and Anna Lewandowska (soprano), Agnieszka Marucha (violin), Igor Rudnicki and Michał Wieczerzak (viola), Piotr Hausenplas (cello), Maria Peradzyńska (flute), Alina Mleczko (soprano saxophone)
