Final Concert of the 3rd Mieczysław Karłowicz International Composition Competition
The final concert of the 3rd Mieczysław Karłowicz International Composition Competition will take place on 29 November 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Szczecin Philharmonic. The concert will feature five world premieres, selected from a record-breaking 284 submissions from over 40 countries. All the finalist compositions will be performed by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Szymon Bywalec, a renowned conductor known for his exceptional interpretations of contemporary music.
During the final concert, the audience will have the opportunity to award the Audience Prize. Their votes may play a crucial role in shaping the future of these promising talents.
The Mieczysław Karłowicz International Composition Competition, organized by the Szczecin Philharmonic in collaboration with the ZAiKS Authors' Association, serves as a platform for the promotion of contemporary music and offers young composers a chance to gain international recognition.
